Philosophy of
the Programme

The
philosophy of the programmes is in line with the
University philosophy of seeking and moulding the total being by developing the
mind and imparting morality, wisdom, knowledge and skills that
would enable them to contribute to the social, economic, political and technological
developments of the Nigerian society.

Objective
of the Programme

The
objective of the programme is to produce high-level managerial work force
equipped with the appropriate knowledge, skills and aptitude to handle the
ever-growing and changing business environment. In addition, the programme will
equip students for postgraduate studies in any University across the globe.

Admission Requirements

 (a) UTME for admission into 100 level: Minimum
of credit passes in five subjects including English Language, Mathematics and Economics
at not more than two sittings in SSCE/NECO/ NABTEB/GCE (O/L)

(b) Direct Entry admission into 200 level: Candidates must possess five credit passes in the GCE (O/L) or equivalent examination, at least two of which shall be at the Advanced Level provided that same subjects are not counted at both Levels of examinations. Credit passes at the Ordinary Level must include English Language and Mathematics. Also, either of O’ Level or A’ Level credit passes must include Economics. In addition, OND (Upper Credit) in Business Administration or Marketing is acceptable for Direct Entry.
